6E-3137 Implement Piston Pump for CAT 120H 140K 160K Grader, 0R-7672

Productbeschrijving:

Part: 6E-3137 piston pump for CAT H-series and K-series motor graders, listed by Caterpillar as Pump Group-Piston with the parts book item name PUMP GP-PISTON. Its plate carries the implement control valves for articulation, centreshift, wheel lean and blade lift.

Role: the implement side of the tandem pump stack. Cat reman equivalent 0R-7672.

Supplied as: new HTD-brand replacement, made in China. MOQ 1 piece, wooden case, dispatch 5 to 8 working days.

Beschrijving

Two pumps sit behind one bell housing on a Cat grader, and only one of them carries the implement control valves on its plate. That is how you can tell 6E-3137 from its sibling at a glance, and it is the reason the two are so often ordered wrongly by people matching photographs.

What the parts book shows

6E-3137 is recorded as PUMP GP-PISTON, mounted through the pump lines group, 115-3078 on a 120H ES at prefix 9YR and 301-2237 on a 140K at SZL. The parts list on the 160K plate at JBP carries the control valves named for articulation, centreshift, wheel lean and blade lift, alongside the manifold. That is the implement circuit. Cat publishes no displacement for 6E-3137, in contrast with the steering pump’s 74Cc, so we do not quote one.

Applicability

Verified prefixes in Cat literature: 9YR on 120H and 120H ES with the 3116, SZL on 140K with the C7, and JBP on 160K with the C7. Supplier data extends the same pump to 12H, 135H, 140H, 160H and 120K, which is plausible for the family but was not individually booked in the pages we checked. Confirm by PIN.

Sibling, not substitute

The steering pump on the same machine is 6E-3136, reman 0R-7682. This pump’s reman reference is 0R-7672. Suppliers who print 6E-3136 and 6E-3137 together as interchangeable, or who attach 0R-7682 to this number, are describing two halves of one stack as though they were options. They are not. The compensator settings and the valve blocks differ, and a steering pump fitted where the implement pump belongs will give you steering with no blade.

Older G-series graders on the 12G, 130G, 140G and 160G use 6E-5072 instead, another pump in the same physical family. Generation first, model badge second.

Failure signs

  • Blade lift or tilt slow while steering stays sharp: implement pump wear.
  • Everything slow including steering: check engine rpm and the tank filter before condemning either pump.
  • Noise at idle: cavitation, look at the suction line.
  • Oil at the shaft: case drain back-pressure, then the coupling.

Onze regulator diagnosis and adjustment guide covers the compensator checks, and drive gear inspection covers the input side.

Fitting and ordering

Match shaft spline, pilot, flange, port positions, valve block layout and rotation against the removed pump. Prime the casing with clean oil before cranking. Change the return filter element and clear the suction strainer, targeting ISO 4406 18/16/13. Keep the case drain unrestricted to tank. Prove blade lift and articulation on a hot machine and record pressures.

Minimum order one piece. New aftermarket units carry a three to six month warranty as stated on your proforma invoice. Bench tested, photographed against your order before the wooden case closes, delivery 5 to 8 working days from payment subject to stock. The range sits under CAT hydraulic pump.
