- Clean the cores and re-measure coolant and hydraulic oil temperature at low and high idle under load.
- Confirm the fan actually accelerates when demand rises. If it does not, the fault may be the command, not the pump.
- Measure outlet flow and pressure at working temperature.
- Check the suction strainer and the oil level, since starvation mimics wear.
- Inspect the fan motor case drain before condemning either unit.
